POSITION SUMMARY
ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently hiring an Administrative Assistant in Fort Worth to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the Plant Manager, supervisors and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate will be able to interact with employees at all levels, have strong customer service skills, excel at time management and demonstrate resourcefulness to run an office environment efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Act as a liaison between Corporate HR-Atco and location employees; point of contact for employees regarding all HR related information
Distribute updated information/policies & procedures to employees
Maintain timekeeping records and process weekly and/or bi-weekly employee payroll
Maintain digital personnel files on Dayforce
Administer onboarding orientations to new hires
Provide employees with benefits information
Review Dayforce notifications to update employee profiles
Review employees’ daily attendance and monitor attendance point system
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule appointments
Coordinate meetings and take detailed minutes
Compose emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Develop and maintain a filing system
Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, fax, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task competing priorities
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am. To 4:00 p.m.
