This role offers the flexibility to be based onsite in the beautiful Perisher Valley or to work remotely from within NSW if preferred. Perisher is the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, located in the beautiful Snowy Mountains region of South-Eastern NSW and just a two-hour drive from Canberra and the Far South Coast.
Perisher is part of Vail Resorts who own and operate ski areas including iconic resorts including Falls Creek and Hotham in Australia as well as Park City, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb and Vail in North America.
The Executive Assistant provides support to the VP & General Manager Perisher and the broader Executive team at Vail Resorts Australia. This is an interesting and varied role with opportunity to ‘make it your own’. The successful candidate will be a highly trusted, organised individual with the ability to provide professional administrative services and act as a welcoming first point of contact for stakeholder enquiries.
In a typical day in this role, you might:
Determine priority matters of attention for the executive, redirecting or handling routine matters personally as appropriate
Organise logistics for and attend leadership meetings as requested, act as secretary by preparing agenda’s, sending invitations, collating meeting materials and preparing accurate minutes for timely distribution
Maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments and engagements
Assist with record keeping and document management processes including development and maintenance of the leadership SharePoint and Teams sites
To be considered for this role, you should have:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, secretarial or office management position
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of staff.
Strong written communication skills
An ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Previous experience in preparing meeting agendas and minutes will be highly regarded
Well-developed Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint skills
