We are seeking an Executive/Governance Assistant to support our client the CEO of a Healthcare Nonprofit. This role will provide high-level administrative, governance, and operational assistance to the nonprofit, its entities, and its family office. This role will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, the EGA manages executive communications, special projects, and governance-related activities with professionalism and discretion. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-level environment.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support:

Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, expense reports, and confidential correspondence.

Provide administrative support to Boards, advisors, and benefactors.

Handle personal tasks and special projects as needed.

Coordinate and execute events.

Be available outside regular hours for urgent matters and remote support.

Governance & Compliance:

Organize and manage board meetings, including agenda preparation, board books, and minutes.

Serve as custodian of board documents, resolutions, and compliance records.

Ensure governance materials align with Bylaws, policies, and compliance requirements.

Maintain corporate filings and records, tracking key deadlines.

Act as a Notary Public.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years supporting C-level executives, preferably in nonprofit or healthcare.

Experience in corporate governance, board coordination, and compliance.

Notary public certification is required.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT troubleshooting.

Ability to manage confidential tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and travel commitments.

Location:

La Jolla, CA. 3 days a week in person, 2 days a week remote. Must have a 24/7 mindset.

Compensation:

$115-130k DOE, bonus opportunity, benefits, retirement matching.
