We are a subsidiary of the Australian National University (ANU).
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Executive Officer to join our organisation.
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Officer plays a critical role in supporting the CEO, Board, Executive Leadership Team and broader organisation. The role ensures smooth operation of governance functions and senior decision-making processes through the provision of high quality and timely executive support, information and reports, meeting and event management, continuous improvement initiatives, comprehensive knowledge management, diary and stakeholder management. The Executive Officer will also contribute to general office operations and corporate services administrative support as required.
To succeed in this role, you will be a driven and pro-active individual, have strong organisational and communication skills, with experience supporting executives across multi-service functions. You will have good awareness of self and others, and be able to work collaboratively with teams across the business on behalf of the ELT.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and will be based at our Melbourne CBD office with hybrid work arrangements available. A suitable home workspace and computer setup, and reliable internet connection are required to work from home.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
Experience and knowledge of the operation and governance processes of boards and committees
Completion of relevant training in board and governance processes (preferred)
Previous experience managing meeting logistics, including venue arrangements and document preparation
Practical experience of taking meeting minutes
Meticulous in preparing documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong team focus and exceptional client and team interpersonal skills
Ability to work to a high ethical standard ensuring professionalism and confidentiality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
High level computer skills essential
