Executive – Salary Administration
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including EPF, ETF, PAYE/APIT, Gratuity and other regulatory obligations
- Review payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, and deductions
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis for management review
- Handle employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality and accuracy
- Support audits by preparing required payroll documentation and reports
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within payroll operations
- Maintain medical insurance database
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in payroll processing, preferably in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and Sri Lankan labour laws
- Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and payroll reporting
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
