Executive – Salary Administration

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including EPF, ETF, PAYE/APIT, Gratuity and other regulatory obligations
  • Review payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, and deductions
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis for management review
  • Handle employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality and accuracy
  • Support audits by preparing required payroll documentation and reports
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within payroll operations
  • Maintain medical insurance database

Requirements

  • Degree or professional qualification in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in payroll processing, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and Sri Lankan labour laws
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and payroll reporting
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
