Position Overview:
As the Development Business Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CRED team (Construction, Real Estate, and Development) and the department’s leadership team. You will ensure seamless oversight of administrative aspects for various CRED teams from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include managing projects, preparing PowerPoint presentations, and providing high-level support to the leadership team. You must be able to manage multiple projects effectively to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the department.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Provide comprehensive administrative support to CRED teams, including scheduling, managing correspondence, and preparing for meetings:
Work collaboratively with department leadership teams to ensure alignment within CRED departments
Analyze situations and make independent decisions as able, otherwise, elevate to leadership when necessary
Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, presentation decks, and other key items when needed
Manage complex schedules with thoughtfulness and advance planning; anticipate and resolve conflicts for leaders
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records
Facilitate effective communication between the Construction and Development’s leadership team, cross-departmentally, and outside vendors, as needed
Handle overall communication by reviewing and responding to requests and inquiries:
Assist in the administrative projects and planning for the overall department to ensure deadlines and outcomes are on schedule and met
Gather concerns within projects and elevate to the appropriate leaders and assist in the strategy solutions
Compose and distribute professional correspondence and memoranda as needed
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required
1 additional year of administration, operations, executive assistant, or similar experience, required
Strong understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, including crafting detailed presentations and comparing/merging documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Ability to execute seamless oversight of all administrative aspects for the Design/Construction and Development team
General understanding in design of QSR, restaurants, retail or hospitality
Travel required up to 20%
Location Requirement:
This role is located in the Greater Phoenix area. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.

Physical Requirements:
In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions
Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings
Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels
Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
Compensation:
$ 62,943.73 – DOE
