Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our databases. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle administrative tasks effectively. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring that our records are accurate and up-to-date, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Transcribe information from various sources into digital formats.
Manage order entry processes and maintain organized files for easy retrieval.
Computerize data into databases and ensure all entries are current.
Conduct research for data collection as needed to support various projects.
Utilize pivot tables and other tools to analyze data as required.
Provide clerical support including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Collaborate with team members to improve data management processes.
Experience
Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred.
Familiarity with databases and data management systems is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with pivot tables is beneficial).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
