Best Practice Network operates across Australia and New Zealand. We have about 100 manufacturing-based memberships in our network with over 500 operational sites based in QLD, NSW, VIC, WA and NZ. In Victoria this ranges from large corporates such as Dulux, Bluescope and Goodman Fielder to privately owned niche manufacturers.

Now that the incumbent has successfully transitioned into retirement this exciting opportunity to lead and grow our Victoria network has become available. Most of our VIC members are located around Melbourne, so ideally you will live in or close to Melbourne. You will own the rights to operate the Victorian Best Practice Network as your own business (with a modest buy-in required).
You will have:
- An innate ability to interact and network easily with people from the shop floor up to senior Executive level
- Had some exposure to manufacturing based industries in Australia, ideally with some knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement. Alternatively you may have had experience with organising and leading events.
- Spent 10+ years in senior roles in Australia
- Mature sales skills with the ability to develop a sales pipeline
- The ability to work collaboratively with the leaders of the other Best Practice Network regions
- Well-developed empathetic listening skills and the experience to be a trusted “sounding board” for senior leaders
