Experienced Periodontal Assistant
Location:
Multiple Locations, GA
We are seeking an experienced Periodontal Assistant to join our team in multiple locations in GA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist the periodontist in all aspects of periodontal treatment and surgery
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials needed for procedures
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Maintain and sterilize dental equipment and instruments
Perform office duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Periodontal Assistant
Current certification in dental radiography and CPR
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
