Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of Family Reentry by performing a variety of administrative tasks. The role will require collaboration with Finance, Facilities and Development to support operations and ensure a smooth workflow.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Fiscal/Invoices: Help support proper coding of invoices, approving and/or obtaining approvals for invoices and submitted approved invoices for payment.
Calendar Manager – Schedule interviews, attend and prepare for weekly meetings. Maintaining deadlines and overseeing multiple calendars.
Development/Marketing: attend meetings with Development and Marketing teams to assist and ensure marketing integrity. Responsible for ongoing updates of all marketing materials. Ensuring accurate brand correspondence with outside recipients.
Provide Administrative support for fundraising events and Donor visits.
Data Management: Provide support in gathering data metrics and creating presentations for Board and Executive team meetings.
Office Management: ordering office supplies, PPE supplies and updating inventory. Greeting visitors and monitoring phone lines, managing incoming and outgoing mail, organizing files. Prepare documents and reports for leadership.
Onboarding New Hires: assist with new hire questions, assist staff with various requests for help when needed i.e., how to do expense reporting; share calendars; create email signatures, Teams, etc.
Act as a back up to Executive Assistance when needed.

Required Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree Required
Three – Five years’ related experience required

The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.
