The Role:
As a key member of the Family Department, you’ll provide comprehensive secretarial support, ensuring the smooth running of the team. Your duties will include:
* Assisting solicitors with divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and domestic abuse cases.
* Drafting legal documents such as witness statements, court applications, and client correspondence.
* Conducting legal research to support case preparation.
* Managing client files, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with legal procedures.
* Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, and other professionals in a professional and timely manner.
* Attending client meetings and court hearings where necessary.
* Preparing trial bundles and assisting with case management.
* Handling initial client enquiries and providing administrative support to the team
