Family Services Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to the Policy Council and work with center staff in creating parent committees, in coordination with the Family Services Director.
Develop and implement a case management service delivery model for serving families.
Create a training and technical assistance plan aligned with Head Start Performance Standards.
Assist in developing and implementing a transition program plan ensuring record transfer, service continuity, and confidentiality.
Coordinate activities within an integrated program emphasizing family/community collaboration, ensuring compliance with Head Start standards.
Develop a systematic child/family file format for organization and easy access.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting, including Family Data Base System reports and community assessments.
Implement and monitor a confidential filing system, including electronic data systems.
Assist in data gathering and interpretation for community assessments and program planning.
Support the Family Services Director in policy group functions and compliance activities.
Develop and implement a Family Literacy Program targeting parents.
Provide training to staff on responsibilities and area plans.
Ensure volunteer programs meet all legal requirements.
Develop and oversee a Fatherhood Program to promote male involvement.
Create and monitor a comprehensive ERSEA plan for recruitment, selection, and enrollment, including priority for children with disabilities.
Manage family enrollment processes, eligibility, and tracking to meet funding and enrollment benchmarks.
Develop systems for tracking attendance and follow-up on absences.
Participate in meetings, seminars, and workshops as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Community Development, or related field;
Master’s preferred.
At least 2 years’ experience working with families or communities, including case management and community development skills.
Basic computer skills required.
Willingness to travel intrastate/interstate and work irregular hours.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
Work Environment, Physical, and Sensory Demands:
The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, bending, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs., and driving. The work environment is generally quiet to moderate noise, with moderate temperature conditions.

Phones, computers, fax, copy machines, laminator, first aid equipment, fire extinguisher, etc.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Successful criminal background check, physical exam, and TB test required prior to employment.
