Job Description:
The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is currently seeking a Student Assistant to join its Federal Programs team. In this role, you will support Financial Aid Coordinators with a range of tasks, including data entry using Microsoft Excel, while gaining valuable experience in financial aid processing.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review and sort incoming custodial scholarship mail.
Scan mail documents.
Audit and alphabetize scholarship check information.
Assist with outreach and cases.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
This position will begin in Spring 2025 and will continue through subsequent semesters.
Expected Salary: $13/hour
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a current UF student
Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
Available through Summer 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of iOS operating system
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
Available to work 15-20 hours a week
