Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, the Thayer Finance Director leads efficient and effective financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, and operational support to advance the academic mission of Thayer. Partners with academic and administrative leaders across Thayer and the broader Dartmouth community to identify and implement operational and fiscal efficiencies.

Advancedproblem solving, resolution andanalytical skills.
Able to work under pressure of time constraints, work independently and multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills. Communicates clearly in writing and in person.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed expectations ofsenior leadership, faculty and staff colleagues and supervisors.
Ability to be a high-level contributor to teams and committees and collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in business administration preferred.
Knowledge of Dartmouth financial systems, policies and processes.
