This advert is for our talent pool for a potential future Financial Analyst opportunity. The role may become available as business needs evolve, and we are seeking expressions of interest from candidates with strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and an interest in financial control.

You Will Be Primarily Focused On
- Financial Control & Reporting: Support day to day financial control activities including management, regulatory and head office reporting.
- Reconciliations & Integrity: Perform general ledger reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Month-End & Close Support: Assist with month-end processes including journals, nonlending losses, fixed asset updates, and capitalisation activities.
- Controls & Issue Management: Monitor control effectiveness, identify and escalate discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills that will help you be successful in the role:
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good PC skills covering accounting, word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. Progression towards CPA studies is highly valued
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to work to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining good customer service
