Summary

Gives information to callers and visitors, takes minutes, relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business details by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Greets visitors, determines nature of business, and directs callers/visitors to appropriate person

· Answers, screens, and refers inquires to the appropriate official

· Place outgoing calls

· Provides copies and distributes to various programs

· Ensures that office equipment is operational (clearing jams, adding toner, etc.)

· Basic computer skills

· Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer

· Types routine correspondence, provides data entry services

· Maintains filing systems

· Maintains stock of office supplies

· Records minutes of staff meetings

· Assists other office staff as required

· Picks up supplies on a periodic basis

· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED and two years related experience performing clerical work in an office setting, and/or training and experience which provided the required knowledge or skill, and abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

Valid Driver License; must pass Level 2 background screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,280.00 – $34,781.00 per year
