What’s my main role?

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, you will be the person they rely on to welcome them and create the beginning of a memorable experience by introducing them to the hotel and its amenities, offer local insights and continuing their experience by anticipating every detail throughout their stay.

Your day to day…

1. Smile and be the first to provide a warm and genuine welcome upon each guest’s arrival.

2. Acknowledge loyalty club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.

3. Try to answer the phone on the first ring. Skillfully and graciously handle multiple calls. 4. Make and manage guest reservations and up-selling opportunities.

5. Handle cash and credit transactions, and other posting transactions and shift close-out duties.

6. Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests in and out. Enroll new loyalty club members.

7. Assist guests with luggage, delivery of room supplies, guest room touch-up cleaning, etc.

8. Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs & preferences, and gladly handle their requests and questions.

9. Stay safe all the time and use wise judgement. Report all incidents. 10. Continually participate in ongoing training. Keep busy during your shift.

11. Look sharp…be well-groomed and wear your uniform with pride as a hotel ambassador.

12. Work as an important part of the hotel’s entire team to ensure excellent quality and service.

13. Always know what events and activities are happening locally or in the hotel.

14. During the overnight shift, assist with breakfast preparations.

15. Maintain lobby coffee & other offering. Assist with breakfast service.

16. Keep work surroundings, outdoor entrance area, lobby, restrooms, pool & fitness clean, stocked and tidy.

17. Use the Daily Communication Log to stay informed and to keep management and other GSAs informed.

19. Confidently handle emergency situations, fire alarms, maintenance items, noise complaints, etc.

20. Assist with other duties as assigned. What else the job requires from you?

1. Occasional lifting of heavy items and or push/pulling heavy objects. 3. Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work other shifts, weekends and/or holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 – $12.00 per hour
