We are seeking a Welcome Team Manager to lead our front desk reception team and ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient services across our medical, dental, and behavioral health departments. This is a key leadership role focused on fostering a positive and professional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Welcome Team, this position will support Facilities and Information Technology (IT) departments, supporting coordination and communication across clinical and operational teams. The Welcome Team Manager will also work closely with other administrative departments, including the Call Center, Billing, and Welcome Teams at additional OCH locations, to promote consistency and excellence in service. This position provides valuable opportunities for professional development within an organization dedicated to community service. This position is full-time, located at our Hood River, Oregon clinic.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) years experience in an outpatient healthcare office, Two (2) years supervisory experience, or combination of equivalent education and work experience
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge in staff management, recruitment, employee relations, training, and workplace safety
Able to use initiative and good judgment to complete tasks and resolve issues safely and professionally.
Organizes, prioritizes and coordinates multiple activities and tasks.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Able to make decisions independently in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Reacts calmly and effectively in high pressure and emergency situations.
Able to inspire trust and confidence, and communicate effectively with internal and external audiences
High level computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Epic, and other systems.
Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Knowledge of customer service and workplace safety.
Willingness to travel for events and between clinic locations, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English & Spanish
Bachelors or associate degree in business administration or equivalent
Experience working with low income, multi-ethnic populations.

Compensation:
Salaried/Exempt: Starting at $70,000 annually, increases depending on experience
Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
