Full Job Description

Duties:

– Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
– Check-in and check-out guests using the hotel management system
– Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
– Provide excellent customer service and address guest concerns or complaints
– Assist guests with luggage and other requests
– Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
– Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
– Assist with night audit duties as needed

Experience:

– Previous experience working at the front desk of a hotel is preferred
– Knowledge of hotel management systems and phone systems
– Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
– Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
