This position is for a Switchboard Operator located at Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana.

This position is responsible for supporting the operations of CLSH Switchboard Department with telecommunication and administrative matters. The Switchboard Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position is a part-time position that may be expected to work any 8 or 12 hour shift to support the needs of the Department, not to exceed 1245 hours in a 12-month period.

No experience or training is required.

Receives cash, checks, credit cards, vouchers, or departmental charges from customers and/or employees in payment for goods or services.

May operate various office equipment (such as copy machine, calculator) that requires no special knowledge or previous training.

May deliver and pick-up various materials.

Performs related duties as assigned.
