Description
The Front Desk Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and organized reception area. This role is crucial for creating a positive first impression for clients, vendors, and team members. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
Handle scheduling and appointments, ensuring the reception area remains organized and presentable.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
Support the coordination of incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Assist with event coordination and provide support for office meetings, as needed.
Uphold security protocols by verifying visitor identification and issuing guest passes.
Provide information about company services and support with basic inquiries.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications in office management is a plus).
Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor.
