Role Description The Front Desk Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This position is responsible for welcoming visitors, answering inquiries, and directing clients to the appropriate team members or services. Daily tasks include managing incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining visitor logs, and handling basic administrative duties such as document organization and message taking. The role also involves providing clear information about the consultancy’s services, supporting client check-in processes, and ensuring the reception area remains clean, orderly, and professional at all times. The Front Desk Representative collaborates with the counseling and operations teams to support smooth office workflows and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and managing front desk operations.
  • Experience handling Reservations or appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate records.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets).
  • Ability to stay organized, multitask, and manage time in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and attention to detail in client-facing tasks.
  • Fluency in English and local languages; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Prior front desk or administrative experience in an education or service-oriented setting is preferred.
