Title: Administrative Assistant
Position Type: Temporary (Up to 6 months)
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Hours: M-F, 8:00am-4:00pm
Salary: TBD

Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This state agency operates psychiatric centers across the State. This agency also regulates, certifies and oversees more than 4,500 programs, operated by local governments and nonprofit agencies.

Responsibilities
Establish office procedures
Expedite and follow up on projects
Answering phones.
Greeting patients.
Registering (signing in) patients.
Verifying information/demographic information.
Making appointments.
Making appointment reminder calls.
Filing, copying, scanning documents.
Ordering supplies.
Auditing charts for documentation completion/compliance.
Other duties as requested/required.

Requirements
A high school diploma (or equivalent).
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The ability to enter data into, and extract data from, electronic databases.
The ability to work independently and on a team with different personalities.
Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external entities.
