We are looking for Front office star for our esteemed 5-star hotel Client, you will serve as the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service and assistance to our guests from the moment they arrive. Your role within the front office department is vital in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all visitors. Below is an outline of your duties and responsibilities:

Guest Relations:

Warmly welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

Escort guests to their rooms and provide assistance with luggage as needed.

Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Reservations and Booking Management:

Assist guests with making reservations, both over the phone and in person.

Ensure accuracy of reservations and update the hotel’s reservation system accordingly.

Process cancellations and modifications to existing reservations.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.

Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.

Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departments.

Problem Resolution:

Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the guest’s satisfaction.

Escalate unresolved matters to the appropriate supervisor or manager as needed.

Safety and Security:

Monitor the lobby area and report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the security team or management.

Follow established procedures for handling guest room keys and maintaining guest confidentiality.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.

Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed to maintain a high standard of service.

Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about hotel policies, procedures, and updates.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a front office role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in using hotel management software and other computer applications.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar.
