About us

We are a local non profit organization covering eight counties in the crossroads area. Our office is located in Victoria Tx and office/work hours are M-F, 8-5 with occasional variations during fundraising events and holidays. We are a small team of 9 professional employees.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient office procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in office management.

Responsibilities:

– Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including coordinating schedules, handling correspondence, communicating with external and internal stakeholders, receipt and routing of intakes, and prioritizing tasks

– Oversee network for good and provide guidance and support as needed

– Maintain office efficiency by implementing and improving office systems and procedures to meet overall organizational goals

– Assist in managing office budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions

– Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records

– Coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments; manage calendars for multiple team members

– Assist with HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations

– Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed

– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

– Handle confidential information with discretion

Requirements:

– Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role

– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), fundraising software, network for good, non profit office management tools, and other relevant software applications

– Familiarity with QuickBooks and Canva

– Knowledge of non profit office management is preferred but not required

– Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with attention to detail

– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions independently
