Position Overview:Our client is seeking a Temporary Office Clerk to support their logistics and administrative functions for a one-week period while the regular employee is on vacation. This role involves assisting with various tasks related to railcar packaging instructions, processing completed railcar pack outs, and supporting the Logistics Manager with reports and data management.

Responsibilities:

Create railcar packaging instructions for production teams based on customer requirements.

Process completed railcar pack outs (Master Bagging Report), including updating customer reports and adding inventory to warehouse counts.

Assist the Logistics Manager with Release Summary reports.

Confirm container numbers, lot numbers, total counts and weights, and seal accuracy on spreadsheets.

Confirm ingate to port via trucker communication.

Provide container details to customers/freight forwarders for document cutoffs as needed.

Assist the Logistics Manager with SAP inputs for Activity Due List (Lot allocation, Container info, Deliveries).

Update the master rail/waybill list and provide it to management quarterly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous office experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
