General Support Administrative Officer Jobs in Herndon, VA at CACI
The Front Office Coordinator creates a welcoming first impression for all phone and in-person visitors to the corporate office. This role efficiently manages phone inquiries, connecting customers with the appropriate internal resources. The Coordinator also greets visitors (including customers, vendors, and job applicants), ensures adherence to building security protocols, and maintains the appearance and functionality of front-of-house areas like the reception, bistro, training room, and visitor restrooms. Furthermore, this position keeps office staff informed about relevant company events, visitors, and maintenance impacting daily operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
Handle daily requests (phone, email, in-person, systems) between 8 AM and 5 PM.
Organize your time to finish tasks on schedule.
Answer, screen, and log phone calls and faxes.
Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out.
Keep visitor logs for safety and provide building access/IDs.
Keep the front office areas (reception, etc.) looking professional.
Set up and clean up HR events in front office meeting rooms.
Inform the office about events affecting daily work.
Receive, log, and manage package deliveries.
Check the CRM system for errors and notify the right people to fix them.
Be on time and attend work regularly.
Do other assigned tasks.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to make repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, daily
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
Move/Transport items weighing 20 pounds, occasionally
Stand or Sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
Work is performed in an office environment
