Position Objective
To ensure accurate, timely and transparent financial communication by managing and reconciling Statement of Account (SOA) for both providers and clients, supporting smooth financial operations and fostering trust through efficient payment and billing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities;
Payment Reconciliation
- Reconcile SOAs against payments processed and claims approved.
- Identify and flag discrepancies, working closely with team lead or manager to resolve them.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of SOAs, reconciliations and payment communications.
- Generate simple reports or trackers for pending payments and outstanding balances.
Provider Support
- Respond to basic inquiries from providers related to SOAs or payment.
- Route unresolved or complex issues to the manager or relevant department.
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with claims, finance and provider network teams to gather or verify data.
- Follow up on pending inputs needed for payment processing.
Compliance & Process Adherence
- Ensure adherence to standard procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain data confidentiality and support audit readiness.
Minimum Job requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in healthcare finance, insurance billing, claims support or payment reconciliation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – VlookUp, XlookUp, basic formulas, data formatting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and time management abilities.
- Team player with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English – written and spoken
