Position Summary:
Are you looking to begin your career in athletic administration? Doane University Athletics is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Athletic Administration to support the day-to-day operations of the department and contribute to the success of our student-athletes. This role provides hands-on experience in athletic administration, including event management, compliance, and program development, while allowing you to pursue your graduate degree.
The Graduate Assistant for Athletic Administration will support the Vice President of Athletics and the Athletics Administrative staff in various operational and administrative functions. Responsibilities include coordinating team travel, managing schedules, maintaining records, and assisting with finance operations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Must qualify for acceptance into a Doane graduate program
Experience should demonstrate:
Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor when interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with scheduling software
Working Conditions:
Ability to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate various sports schedules.
