Salary Range:
$31.00/hr.
– $48.42/hr.
Responsibilities:
This position performs the full range of grants administration duties including, but not limited to:
Assisting departments with preparation of grant proposals and supporting documentation.
Coordinates and performs fiscal administration and reporting of grant expenditures and disbursements; assist with researching and evaluating grant funding opportunities relative to Client’s policies and vision and interpreting funding agency regulations and requirements.
Analyzes, reviews, and ensures compliance of proposals and grant budgets with policies, regulations, funding agency requirements, and accounting protocols and procedures; facilitates documentation requirements.
Track federal awards and oversee compliance with grant programs for the Single Audit.
Develops administrative guidelines and policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of requests for proposals (RFP) and participates in the selection and oversight of consultants. Oversee and participate in special projects as directed by department management staff and the CFO.
Provide technical and administrative support to assigned staff and develop, prepare, and present reports, surveys and perform other administrative duties.
Represents the Client in meetings with members of other public and private organizations, community groups, and the public.
Qualifications:
Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a related field; or, an equivalent combination ofeducationand experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Requires effective oral and writtencommunication skills, financial, analytical, andproblem-solvingabilities.
Previous experience in local government operations and grants writing and management preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
