HSHS St. John’s Hospital is seeking a Health Clerk to join our Orthopedics Unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused, and mission driven individuals that provide support by overseeing patient and clerical activities, including order entry, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis necessary to provide exceptional patient care.
Department: Orthopedic Unit
Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs/wk, Days (7a-7:30p) and every other weekend

Education Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous course in medical terminology is desirable.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.

Pay Range: $16.50 – $22.28
A successful candidate’s actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
