Vedic Nutrition is a fast-growing telehealth nutrition practice helping patients access insurance-covered nutrition counseling across the United States. We're a small, highly leveraged team that uses technology, automation, AI, and operational excellence to deliver a world-class patient experience.

We're looking for a Healthcare Customer Support Operator to be the front line of our patient experience — the person who keeps patients moving through care and makes sure no one falls through the cracks. You'll work closely with the founder and operations team in a fast-moving healthcare environment.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $7–$10 USD / hour (based on experience)
  • Working hours aligned to US Central Time
  • Starts as a 25 hours/week trial, with the possibility of 40+ hours/week with benefits
  • Fully remote, long-term growth opportunity

What You'll Own

Patient Operations

  • Manage patient ops across SMS, email, and phone — reschedules, intakes, no-shows, and referral chasing
  • Follow up and follow through on reschedules and no-shows until they're resolved
  • Provide responsive, professional patient support across every channel

Lead Management & Activation

  • Call new leads and convert them into scheduled patients — comfortable calling clients in a healthcare context
  • Reactivate inactive and never-seen clients by calling them to schedule an appointment

Scheduling & Utilization

  • Own calendar operations with a focus on keeping utilization rates high
  • Coordinate scheduling, reschedules, cancellations, and no-shows to protect provider capacity

General & Admin Support

  • Support general admin work including payroll and data entry
  • Wear many hats and step in wherever the business needs help

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of healthcare operations experience (required)
  • Startup experience — you perform well in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
  • Familiar with Availity and payer portals
  • Experience with calendar operations and a focus on utilization rates
  • EXTREMELY strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Highly organized and on top of it — a type-A personality
  • Fast learner, adaptable to change, and trustworthy with high-trust work
  • Reliable, growth-oriented, and proactive
  • You believe there's no such thing as "that's not my job"
