We are looking for a positive, organised, and reliable Hospitality Administrative Assistant to work within our hospitality bookings team. This role involves handling bookings, liaising with customers, and providing high-quality administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of our busy Delivered Catering operation, and other aspects of the department. Working closely as part of a supportive team, this is a varied and busy role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will be relied upon to take a proactive, flexible approach to your work, supporting colleagues when needed and contributing positively to the overall success of the team.

Catering and Hospitality Services, employs around 90 staff and an additional 150 student staff workers. The department operates a range of cafes across campus, a central refectory and an extensive range of functions and events. Delivered Catering provides daily hospitality across campus, as awell as providing the catering for conference and events. University House provides fine dining and high end catering with exceptional service. Our team are passionate about the food we provide, and products are locally sourced, seasonal and sustainably sourced wherever possible.

The Hospitality Administration Assistant supports the team with a range of activities including event administration, diary management, event enquiries, event set up and client liaison.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours each week and is normally worked 5 days over 7 between the hours of 7am and 11pm. The typical working hours are on a rota basis between Monday to Friday 07:00-17:00 although occasional weekend work may be required.
