Role Description
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Hampton Inn & Suites Mary Esther–Fort Walton Beach. This is an on-site role based in Fort Walton Beach, FL, primarily covering afternoon and evening shifts, with occasional overnight (audit) shifts as needed.
The Front Desk Agent plays a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in/check-out, reservations, and responding to guest needs with warmth and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
Handle the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately
Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Answer guest inquiries about the hotel, local area, and attractions
Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest requests
Follow all safety and security procedures
Assist with overnight audit duties as needed
Other day to day duties to support all hotel departments
Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented
Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
Comfortable using computers and hotel management software
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is a plus
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Must be able to occasionally work overnight shifts if required
