We are a growing day camp and swim club operating during the summer months but very busy planning and preparing during the off-season. We are looking to hire a new member to join our Chartwell team who will assist with various office-based tasks to prepare for and thrive in the upcoming 2024 season! The position will involve working with the day camp director as well as assisting with bookkeeping, financial reports, cash drawer settlements. Position to start NOW during the Pre-season: Now through May, and continue In-Season: Swim Club – Memorial Day open weekends, opens full time mid-June, & Camp – 6/24-8/30.
General Responsibilities:
Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
Manage and process accounts payable.
Plan and schedule appointments.
Experience with Microsoft Word – Excel, Word, Outlook
Greet and assist onsite guests
Receive and record daily sales, handle billing and receivables
Keep organized filing systems
Perform all other office tasks
Proficient in financial reporting & cash/credit settlements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration, accounting, finance, or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, deadline and detail-oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be QuickBooks and Excel proficient.
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Not required, but a plus – Experience in IT, childcare environment, local resident to Marlton area, a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
