Title: HR & Administration Lead (Founding Team)
Company: Hyatech
Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johore, Malaysia
Company Description
Hyatech is a publicly listed precision manufacturing company headquartered in Wuxi, China, with annual revenue of more than USD 100 million. We manufacture critical aero-engine components and orthopedic implant forgings for the global aerospace and medical industries. Our customers include industry leaders such as Safran, Rolls-Royce, GE Aerospace, Johnson & Johnson, and Smith+Nephew.
As part of our long-term international growth strategy, Hyatech is establishing its first manufacturing operation in Johor, Malaysia. The Malaysia facility is positioned to serve the global aerospace and medical supply chains and will play an important role in supporting future business growth.
Role Description
We are looking for an HR & Administration Lead to join the founding team and help build the local organization from the ground up.
The HR & Administration Lead will be responsible for supporting the establishment of the local organization, including recruitment, administration, employee relations, compliance coordination, and office operations. As one of the founding team members, this individual will work closely with both the Malaysia operation and headquarters in China to help build a capable, sustainable, and high-performing local workforce.
During the initial establishment phase, the role will offer significant flexibility in work location, as much of the early work will focus on recruitment, external partnerships, and organizational setup. As the Johor operation becomes operational, the role is expected to transition to a more regular on-site presence, while maintaining reasonable hybrid flexibility where appropriate. Short-term onboarding and training in China (typically 1–2 weeks) may be required from time to time.
This is one of the first local management positions within Hyatech Malaysia, and offers a unique opportunity to shape the people, culture, and operating foundation of Hyatech Malaysia from day one. As the Malaysia operation grows, this role is expected to evolve into the country HR leadership position.

- Support the setup of local HR and administrative processes during the early establishment phase.
- Coordinate with external service providers for payroll, employment, immigration, insurance, and compliance matters.
- Support office setup, workplace readiness, and administrative infrastructure as the Johor operation develops.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, visa, and logistics arrangements for employees and visitors.
- Support government-related documentation and administrative requirements where necessary.
