A faith-based nonprofit organization in Louisville is seeking a mission-driven Administrative Assistant to support its day-to-day operations and community outreach programs. This vital role combines strong administrative skills with a heart for service, helping to coordinate activities such as food distribution, clothing support, and faith-centered services for individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
Manage schedules, emails, phone calls, and communication for leadership staff.
Organize digital and physical files to ensure easy access to information.
Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as needed.
Order supplies, print materials, and assist with general office management tasks.
Data Entry & Management
Maintain accurate records of clients, volunteers, and donors.
Track and update data for reporting and program evaluation.
Grant Reporting & Compliance
Assist with compiling and submitting grant reports.
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely, accurate data collection.
Project & Event Coordination
Help coordinate volunteer orientations, meetings, and special events.
Support project timelines and track key deliverables.
Other Duties
Take on various tasks to support the evolving needs of a dynamic nonprofit environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience as an administrative or executive assistant (required).
Nonprofit experience and familiarity with CRM/database systems (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic data systems.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
