The City of Keene is looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the vital operations of our Public Works Department, with a primary focus on utility billing and customer service. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our utility billing process, handling financial data, generating monthly reports, and ensuring account accuracy. You’ll be working closely with internal departments and the public, providing essential support to customers, title companies, attorneys, and outside agencies. Specific job duties can be found in the job description below. This year-round position’s schedule is 28 hours per week and Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this part-time position is $21.97- $27.38 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus at least one year of experience in a business office, or equivalent training.
