Overview:
As HR Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of our growing team in Costa Rica.

You willbe responsible for managing various HR functions and processes, supporting organizational development initiatives, and providing guidance to team members on HR matters. This role requires a deep understanding of HR principles, excellentcommunication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

This is a hybrid role, candidate location is preferred to be in the Liberia or San Jose areas of Cost Rica.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations and Team Building:

Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, issues, and concerns.

Coordinate in office and team building events

Mediate and resolve employee issues in a fair and timely manner.

Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.

HR Administration:

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Ensure that HR practices align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Coordinate the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead capacity.

In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.

Exceptional organizational skills andattention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.

HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
