Who We Are

Reporting to the Sr Director, Human Resources – Retail, the HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic HR support to retailleadershipat the regional, district, and store levels, and is also responsible for enabling management effectiveness by leading workforce planning, talent and employee relations initiatives.

This role focuses on employee relations,change management, performance management, investigations andlegal compliancefor broader employee relations support for HRBPs for a population of 3,000 employees.

What You Will Do

This role provides Employee Relations/Talent and Recruiting support to leaders and employees including administering/interpreting policies, researching and/or investigating employee concerns and making recommendations that effectively promote positive employee relations.

Lead effective solutions for addressing workplace concerns in accordance with and ensuring consistent interpretation of policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Monitor case activity ensuring follow through to resolution.

Maintains appropriate documentation and records for Employee Relations cases.

Delivers service in a professional and efficient manner providing prompt assistance while managing expectations to achieve high levels ofcustomer satisfaction.

Develop and edit communications, including designing and formatting unique messages, for various stakeholders throughout the business.

Assist with Peet’s intranet to ensure that content is consistent, relevant and engaging across multiple channels/departments.

DEIB Support

Retail support for DEIB company activities ensuring we enforce aninclusivework environment.

Assist with coordination of communications, initiatives, and projects with the Manager of DEIB and Peetnik Resource Groups.

Learn steps in recruiting and hiring process and collaborate with recruiting team to think about how we can better target, engage, and hirediversecandidates.

Assist the DEIB team through research and associated projects connected to retail.

HR Program & Processes

Coordinates new hire gift process

Leads analysis and key learning cascade of exit and new hire survey information

Process HR related Invoices thru D365.

Drivecontinuous improvementin all HR processes.

Supports with build out of automating employee handbook and policy updates

Talent/Recruiting Support

Post openings to appropriate internal and external sources, including the Peet’s Career pages, Linked In, Indeed, and other job sites

Source and recruit for junior to mid-level positions across the retail organization

Assist the team in managing key recruiting metrics, weekly status updates, reporting requirements, and dashboards and manage projects focused on increasing productivity and process improvements for the team

Coordinate administrative aspects of recruiting workflow management from requisition management, system maintenance, data integrity, candidate sourcing

Responding to employee needs swiftly, while providing accurate information, support, and guidance.

Manage analysis and present quarterly turnover information.

Coordinates Department meetings & offsite events as needed.

Back-up to HRIS Analyst when needed.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in, Human Resources

2-3+ years previous HR experience is a must

Creative problem solver who is resourceful and dedicated to seeing projects through to their successful completion.
