The role:
I’m looking for a HR & Payroll Officer to join our clients team on a permanent basis.
I’m looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with goodattention to detailand excellentcommunication skills. This position is suitable for a self-motivated individual who can work in a methodical manner and has worked across HR and Payroll.
Responsibilities:
To give a high-quality service to support line managers and employees and provide backup to the HR Manager and admin team
Be first point of contact on employee relations, including managing absence and assisting with disciplinary matters, grievances and other employee matters
Provide advice on company benefits, policies and procedures
Ensure payroll information is input correctly
Assisting the team with compliance and preemployment checks
Issue contracts of employment, contractual amendment letters and other correspondence
Work with the HR Managers to update policies/ documents as guided
Employee correspondence and responding to employee queries in a timely manner
Liaise with payroll provider and manager relationship
Maintain personal files in a confidential manner
Work with the HR Manager and HR Officer to ensure that pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations
Process all timesheets and amendments to contract on a monthly basis
Administer third party deductions and other deductions from earnings
Assist in the processing of the monthly PAYE payroll
Pensions administration & queries
Deal with payroll queries
Hours:9am – 5pm Monday to Friday Must work a Friday 4 days a week
