What are we looking for?

An exciting and unique opportunity currently exists in our Toowoomba office for an energetic and enthusiastic HR & Training Administrator to join our team The successful applicant will partner with the wider HR team to manage the training coordination, compliance, records management, apprentice functions, recruitment and onboarding, and general HR activities for our 180-strong workforce and subcontractors.

Who will you be?

This role provides the perfect opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated individual to build a career in a HR. Ideally, the successful candidate will be a vibrant and capable individual with the confidence to deliver outcomes across a broad range of training and HR activities, and will be able to demonstrate:

2 – 3 years administration experience, with experience in an HR or training environment highly advantageous;

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;

Excellent computer skills with previous experience in O365 platforms;

Excellent administration skills with willingness to learn and be involved in diverse tasks;

The ability to plan and organise a busy workload while providing support to multiple stakeholders; and

Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.

While tertiary or vocational qualifications in an HR or training discipline will be considered favourably, the priority for this position is the demonstration of exceptional high level administration skills. This role will suit an individual that thrives in an environment where no two days are the same and that can work well under pressure to meet deadlines and create innovative strategies for the training function.
