Position Summary
Job Title: Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Pay Range: 45-65k annually / Â per hour
BC Wood Products is expanding our HR Team and looking for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant. The Ideal candidate would be detail oriented and happy to serve our employees while representing the best interests of the company. While the Human Resource department does focus on compliance issues, our service mindset ensures BC Wood employees are not treated as cogs in the machine. Responsibilities
The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to other HR professionals by documenting staff changes, performance reports and communications. The duties include scheduling onboarding tasks, processing payroll updates and managing communications for the HR department.
Essential Functions
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and addressing emails for the HR department.
Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves.
Assist HR Director in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration.
Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews.
Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
Liaise with employees, supervisors, managers, and co-workers inproblem resolution.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, andlocal employmentand benefits laws and regulations.
Ensure smoothcommunicationwith employees and timely resolution to their queries with a service minded approach.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Typically, the position demands sitting in front of a computer in a conditioned environment.
HR personnel may also spend half the day engaging with employees on the manufacturing floor. This includes time walking and standing in an open warehouse without air conditioning.
Noise levels and general operations require the use of Personal Protective Equipment to ensure safety. Personnel should be able to engage with employees in their normalwork environment.

Education:
Minimum Associate degree in Human Resources, Administration, or related field preferred.
