1. Professional Qualifications (Hard Skills)

  • Professional Background: Candidates with relevant degrees (Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, etc.) are preferred, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR and Administration, particularly in startup or tech company environments.
  • Comprehensive Professional Competency: Proficiency in key HR Generalist areas, including:
  • Recruitment (End-to-end): Sourcing, screening, and headhunting talent.
  • Administration & Compensation & Benefits (C&B): Managing employee records, timekeeping, payroll, and insurance schemes (Crucial: Knowledge of Malaysian statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, and EIS is mandatory).
  • Internal Relations & Employee Relations (ER): Building and maintaining positive labor relations, and organizing internal engagement activities.

2. Personality & Mindset

  • For Administration, C&B, and Legal Compliance: Must demonstrate meticulousness, high accuracy, and strict adherence to processes.
  • Core Competencies: Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and fluency in English and Mandarin.
