The funding for this position is contingent upon yearly renewal July 1 – June 1, annually. Funding has been approved for July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.

Position works onsite Monday-Thursday, 8:00a.m.

-5:00p.m. and is remote Friday, 8:00a.m.

– 5:00p.m.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

:

The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with the Human Resources Business Partners, Human Resources Director and Chief Human Resources Officer to ensure the efficient processing of all Human Resources (HR) and Payroll transactions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

:

HR Division Support (50% of time)

Create awelcoming atmosphereand provide excellent customer service in all interactions with students, employees, and guests.

Respond to human resources inquiries. Interpret and communicate human resources and payroll policies and processes to resolve basic to complex issues. Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in visitors; manage the general HR email inbox and respond to general Service Desk tickets. Forward questions or issues to colleagues on the HR team as needed.

Provide administrative support for the HR team. Create forms, PowerPoint presentations and/or correspondence; proofread, photocopy, scan and fax documents. Prepare requests for payment (RFPs); and order office supplies.

Respond to requests to verify employment.

Obtain, open and distribute Division mail.

Reconcile monthly Division credit card expenses; ensure coding is completed per college policy; obtain and submit required documentation.

Assist in the coordination of HR events. Reserve rooms; schedule events; compose and compile meeting materials; arrange for equipment, materials, and food services.
