Job purpose
This position will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including onboarding staff, administering benefits, leave program administrative activities, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Duties and responsibilities
Reviews, tracks, and maintains document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory requirements.
Monitors and completes employment verifications.
Maintains new hire orientations andemployee recognition/service programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation (incentives), benefits, leave of absences, employment relations, performance and talent management, productivity, and functionalcontinuous improvement.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, andlocal employmentlaws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
Qualifications
BS or BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or other related field of study.
2+ year of humanresource managementexperience, preferred.
Professional verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, andconflict resolutionskills.
Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail.
Advanced time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to act with integrity,professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Working knowledge of business acumen, financial concepts, and procedures.
Working conditions
Minimal travel requirements as needed for business purposes.
Work assignments will be completed in a hybrid manner within respective markets.
