Position: Hybrid Administrative Assistant for AVP
Support the AVP of Indigenization and Decolonization at Mount Royal University as an Administrative Assistant. This hybrid role demands strong organizational skills and proactive communication.
This full-time position is integral to the Office of Indigenization and Decolonization (OID). You will provide administrative support, manage agendas, and coordinate events while representing the office to visitors. The role requires exceptional project management skills, financial oversight, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary reception for OID visitors
• Prepare correspondence and meeting materials
• Manage travel arrangements for the AVP
• Coordinate logistics for OID events
• Facilitate communications with community members
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 12-18 months in an administrative role
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proven organizational and time management abilities
• Experience managing sensitive information discreetly
