The Systems Administrator is an important dual role in maintaining the smooth operation of the helpdesk service (first class service) and working as a key resource in the infrastructure group (systems administration) to deliver up to date, stable, resilient, and secure Technology systems.
The Systems Administrator should be technically strong, with the ability to think creatively, research new topics, solve problems, ability to collaborate with others and communicate effectively.
Helpdesk / Systems Administration
First point of contact for all Technology user incidents and requests.
Troubleshoot all hardware & software as required.
Record helpdesk requests received via email & telephone,
Desktop /, videoconferencing and teleconferencing setup and support
Work with the infrastructure group to complete project, system, security, & cloud tasks.
Install, configure, and administer all Windows client and server operating systems.
Administer and configure backup and disaster recovery
Plan, implement, and maintain new and existing Technology systems.
Technology infrastructure design to meet business needs.
Continuously improve & review technology Security
Work on scheduled services and server maintenance.
Focus on security reviewing, testing, and implement improvements.
Windows 10 and Office 2016 and 365
Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN.
Security systems experience, such as Crowdstrike, Airlock, Mimecast and Zscaler.
PRTG infrastructure monitoring and SIEM solutions
(Veeam and Azure DraaS).
