MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our industry leading client on their search to appoint an Import Clerk as soon as possible, due to vast expansion of the business. The Role you will be doing;

Preparing shipping quotes, cargo receipts, customs clearance, and other documents

Ensuring shipping invoices are accurate

Tracking shipments and updating clients on progress

Coordinating with overseas customs agents for international deliveries

Communicating with suppliers

Charging, costing and arranging the movement of goods and flow of paperwork to ensure Customs clearances are obtained quickly and deliveries are made in good time.

Managing freight bookings using a computer system

Checking order, tax and customs documents are correct

Working closely with national and international suppliers and agents

About you;

Knowledge of Imports / Exports preferred.

Strong administration skills

Excellent telephone manner andcommunication skills

Computer literate

Attention to detail

Flexible approach and attitude

Excellent organisational skills

Sound Educational background

A self-motivator and is keen to learn and progress within their career.
