The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support, handling patient information, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations in our busy cardiology practice. Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner upon arrival.

Answer and direct phone calls, providing basic information and directing calls to the appropriate department.

Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurately entered into the system.

Assist patients with registration, appointment scheduling, and checking in for their visits.

Manage patient flow by coordinating paperwork and preparing patient files for upcoming appointments.

Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information.

Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment.

Perform general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient office operations and superior patient service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions
